Volunteer Positions
Volunteers are at the heart of the Bicester Baby Bank, whether it's working with families directly, sorting donations, putting together referrals, or providing a listening ear and signposting individuals onto further charities and services within the community, our charity could not run without the kindness of our volunteers.
In return we offer a very warm welcome, and a hands on way to make a positive difference.

Below are the current Baby Bank positions:

Volunteer, 1.5 hours p/week - non public facing
We are seeking a volunteer for 2 hours per week on Wednesdays between 11am and 1pm. The position will be based at Cinch Self Storage, Arkwright Road, Bicester where our unit is located. Duties will include:

-
Sorting donations - ensuring they are clean, safe and appropriate for our families according to checklists
-
Keeping our units tidy - ensuring items are placed in the right locations, keeping walkways clear of items
-
Keeping track of stiock levels and alerting Baby Bank lead when items are running low

You will be working at our unit in a small team when we are closed to the public, therefore you will not be expected to interact with any of our clients. You will need to be able to commit to coming consistently every Wednesday throughout the year - though we typically close for the school holiday periods.
